Playground Cocktail
I am interested in the irony of an overmedicated culture. The shape of the pill, a virtual container without a hole, evokes many questions. It references the human cell, the very thing it is intended to alter. These objects are manufactured using seductive shapes, bright colors and are advertised as cure-alls for many of nature’s important ways of communicating. The pill-popping culture is absorbing and being digested by a vast demographic. Human interaction with this site-specific project is subject to the physical environment, and is modified by the side effects of chance and curiosity.
