| I explore the communicative aspect of woven cloth as it is combined with concrete forms. I am able to manipulate the two dimensional weavings into three-dimensional conversations describing the pull and weight of life and weaving. My work draws connections with the ideas of permanence versus delicacy through the use two distinct materials. This piece explores these qualities further as they interact over an uneven surface outside of a protective gallery environment |
