With this piece I hope to break down some rules and norms regarding books. Books fascinate me because I believe they (as an art form) do more to enact real, social change. However, with the advent of the internet and the fascination with other kinds of media (TV in particular), books are staying on shelves. Many are getting sent to "remote storage". I believe it is time for books to get back OFF THE SHELF and integrate more aggressively back into our culture - so that they can continue on their path of encouraging social improvement and change. The piece I have created asks those who find it to contribute their own ideas to it-and even relocate it to new public places. When the book is full - I hope it finds its way back to me so I can document all of the contributions on a public website:
